We will have the Fairís fabulous own Tea Tent, with its enticing range of homemade cakes, biscuits, sandwiches, rolls, pies and quiches. There will also be two ice cream vans, smoothies, waffles, crepes, candy floss and a burger van. In addition, many of the stalls will be selling food items - anything from cheese scones to fudge to exotically-spiced olives.
Because we are on agricultural land, we have to be careful about disposable bottles and ring-pull cans but you will be able to get tea, coffee and soft drinks from the Tea Tent and Bar.
In the Fairís Beer Tent, our cheery barmaids and pint-pullers will be happy to serve you any of our range of real ales from local breweries (we aim to offer a choice of 10 each year) as well as lager, cider, wine and soft drinks. Breweries represented include Humpty Dumpty (Reedham), Grain (Harleston), and Green Jack (Lowestoft) as well the The Norfolk Cider Company. This year we will be showcasing Thurltonís new microbrewery, The Peopleís Brewery and we are grateful to The Queens Head in Thurlton for their help in running the bar.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, live bands will be performing on the outdoor stage and in the beer tent.
From 1.30-3.30 tap your feet in the beer tent to the New Orleans style jazz of local group Tooba Looba
Then from 3-5 we have the return of crowd-pleasers El Gatoís Men on the outside stage.
Later (5.30-8.00) we have The Misfit Collective
Later on (8-11) dance the night away with our headlining East Anglian covers band Backstreet
... and the bar stays open all through the evening!
